Scan Types

Here is a list of Scan Types that we provide. For each types there is a list of individual scans that will give you a set of scan results.

Course Scans

This set of scans will be available to run when you first launch the course previewer. You can also always run these scans at any time by clicking on the "Run Course Scans" button in the Scan section of the player sidebar

• Course Onboarding: In this scan we see if you are setting your students up for success

• Curriculum Structure: In this scan we will look at how your curriculum looks and let you know if we see any danger signs.

• Free Preview: In this scan we will discuss the free preview feature and how to increase your conversions

• Blocking Progress: In this scan you we will look at drips and pre-requisite features and it's impact on progress

• Course Settings: In this scan we will take a look at some of the course settings that you may want to enable

• Course Experience: In this scan we will discuss how you can make your course more engaging and less boring

• Cross & Upsells: In this scan we will take a look at how you can increase your sales to other products you have

• Community: In this scan we will review your use of community in your course experience and sales

• Course Emails: In this scan we will take a look at how you are using email automation to increase course engagement

Video Lesson Scans

This list of scans will be made available when you select a video lesson during the course preview. Each lesson may have different results and recommendations depending on the lesson settings and video used.

• Video Length: In this scan we will look at how long your video is and give you some pro tips on dealing with various lengths of video.

• Video Content: In this scan I want to discuss different types of video content and help you achieve the best engagement.

• Video Options: In this scan we will explore using the built in settings for videos and see if you are using them the best way possible.

• Video Extra's: In this scan we will explore extra content you can include with your video lessons to see if you are set up for success.

Text Lesson Scans

This list of scans will be made available when you select a text lesson while previewing the course. Each text lesson will have different results and recommendations depending on the content of the lesson.

• Content Length In this scan we will look at how long your content is and give you some pro tips breaking up long content

• Elements & Structure In this scan we will make sure you are using the perfect mix of structure elements to make your lesson more engaging

• Style & Design In this scan we will see if you are using elements to style your lesson and make it more visually appealing

PDF Lesson Scans

This list of scans will be made available when you select a pdf lesson while previewing the course. Each pdf lesson will have different results and recommendations depending on the content of the lesson.

• Fillable PDF In this scan we will discuss how to create fillable PDF's as well as tools you can use

This list of scans will be made available when you select a download lesson while previewing the course. Each pdf lesson will have different results and recommendations depending on the content of the lesson.

• Download Extra's: In this scan we will take a look at the text area that you can use to describe the download details

• Download Files Names & Extensions In this scan we will take a look at how you are naming your files and the types of files you are using

• Resource Library In this scan we will talk about how to organize an entire resource library of many downloads and alternative ways to do this

Presentation Lesson Scans

This list of scans will be made available when you select a presentation lesson while previewing the course. Each presentation lesson will have different results and recommendations depending on the content of the lesson.

• Presentation Size In this scan we will examine the size of your presentation to make sure you are not overwhelming your students

• Content and Design In this scan we discuss best practices in presentation design and also some tools that will help you look like a pro designer

• Using Audio In this scan we will examine if you are using audio along with your slides and review best practices for audio quality

• Presentation Settings In this scan we look at using settings like requiring your students to view all slides in order to mark the lesson complete

Audio Lesson Scans
